Claudia Romano

Claudia Romano is a filmmaker and multimedia storyteller from the DC area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology and Spanish from Swarthmore College, and her short documentaries have been featured in festivals including the Tri-Co Film Festival, the Rough Cut Film Festival, and the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival. Claudia has worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations and cultural institutions in communications and/or production roles including the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, CAMRA at UPenn, FWD.us, and Say Yes to Education. She joined the MIT Open Documentary Lab as a Producer in March 2019, where she produces lab events, communications, and multimedia content.
